Shipping Policy
SHIPPING CARRIERS
Our packages are usually sent using UPS (United Parcel Service) or USPS (United States Postal Service). Please note that UPS does not deliver to USPS post office boxes.
FREE SHIPPING (Purchase of $98 or more)
- We provide FREE shipping, to the 48 contiguous states, on your order of $98 or more, before the addition of any taxes and/or discounts, via ECONOMY shipping.
- If you prefer faster shipping, other options from UPS and/or USPS will be offered, at an additional charge, to you during checkout.

At this time we do not offer free shipping to Alaska and Hawaii, but we do ship to these states via a "pass through" rate (see below) using STANDARD charges (USPS Ground Advantage).
ECONOMY SHIPPING
This is the least costly shipping, and generally the following services are used.
- USPS Ground Advantage service
- UPS Ground Saver service
STANDARD SHIPPING
STANDARD shipping is usually faster for a modest increase in cost.
- For STANDARD Shipping, RUFUS BFF uses a "pass through" policy for shipping costs. That means that the charges negotiated between Rufus BFF and the carrier for the shipment is the cost that is added to your purchase. Standard shipping is usually done via:

- USPS Priority Mail Service
- UPS 3-Day Select Service

- We do not add "handling" fees or extraneous amounts to shipping charges. The negotiated shipping charges will be shown to you during checkout.
- For shipments to Alaska and Hawaii STANDARD shipping, via USPS Ground Advantage Service, will be used.
SHIPPING TIME TABLES
Generally, all packages will ship no later than the next business day after you have placed your order, and all shipments will have a tracking number that will be provided to you by email as soon as that number is generated by the shipper (usually the same day the shipment is created by Rufus BFF). Please note that orders received over a weekend or a holiday will ship on the following business day.
- Most packages shipped via Economy service should arrive to you within 3-8 calendar days, depending upon the carrier and your location relative to our shipping location.
- Most packages shipped via Standard service should arrive to you within 3-5 business days, depending upon the carrier and your location relative to our shipping location.
Please be advised that shipment times can be affected by events or circumstances that are beyond the control of either Rufus BFF or the carrier - such as delays due to weather, labor strikes or transportation infrastructure interruptions.
SHIPPING ISSUES
All items purchased from Rufus BFF are made pursuant to a shipment contract with our carriers, meaning that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier; however, we will make every reasonable effort to satisfactorily address your issue.
If your package is marked "In transit" for more than 5-8 days, please alert us at customerservice@rufusbff.com, so that we can investigate the status of this package; and, as appropriate, have items re-sent, have an insurance claim filed or have a lost package claim filed.
If your package is marked as "Delivered" but you have not received it, please alert us immediately at customerservice@rufusbff.com, so that a lost package report or insurance claim can be filed with the carrier.
If you do not alert us within 72 hours of the carriers' designation of "delivered," about your missing package, the appropriate claim may be disallowed by the carrier and your package would be dismissed as "delivered", whereupon, no refunds or replacements will be issued
You might think about waiting two business days to see if it arrives. Sometimes carriers may actually designate packages as "delivered" before they arrive.
If your shipper (usually UPS or USPS) indicates that your package has been delivered, but you can’t find it:
- Look around the delivery location. Some carrier employees diligently make packages hard to see to discourage such "porch pirates." Sometimes they do too good of a job, so look behind plants, patio furniture or other obstructions that would obscure the view from passers by.
- Ask your household and neighbors. Sometimes others in your home or your neighbors help you out by picking up your delivery to help safeguard it from theft.
- Review the delivery address you gave us to make sure it doesn’t have any spelling errors or numerical mistakes.
- As mentioned previously, sometimes carriers may actually designate packages as "delivered" before they arrive, so you might consider waiting two days to see if it comes after all.

DAMAGED, OPENED, TAMPERED WITH
If your package is damaged, tampered with, or opened during transit, please alert us right away at customerservice@rufusbff.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition.
RUFUS BFF is not liable for these events during transit, but we address these on a case-by-case basis and will try our best to work toward a satisfactory solution. In some instances, you may need to involve the carrier's insurance agency, which may take additional time due to filing and processing a claim.
STOLEN AFTER DELIVERY ("porch pirates")
It is a sad state of affairs that we even have to create a FAQ regarding doorstep theft in particular, but such an event is beyond control of RUFUS BFF, and we aren't able to assume liability for such an unfortunate circumstance.
PLEASE NOTE: We are not able honor any of the above terms if the order was sent to another address after original delivery or if the buyer used third-party forwarding or mail redirection.
